Our board are all members of our first volunteer trip to South Africa sum 15 years ago. They  understand the needs and challenges of children and youth in the region where we work.

Reachout To Africa the initiator and developer of the Schools For Schools program.   We engage young people in important issues facing youth around the world. We provide opportunities for local youth to develop ideas, create real projects, develop leadership skills and above all inform themselves about important world issues facing young people today. Poverty, lack of educational opportunities, poor health care, HIV/AIDs and STD’s and clean water and personal balance and boundaries are issues that face hundreds of millions of young people in Africa and around the world.

Our goal is to provide an opportunity for the student population in your school in engage in meaningful learning experiences and practical communication both within your school and with your partner school in Africa. We also provide those young people with leadership skills and motivation to grow and take charge of the program as it develops in your school whilst engaging them in positive social interaction and change.  

Schools for Schools is a program of facilitation whereby Canadian scholars can link with a local African learners to develop friendship, facilitate mutual understanding and knowledge of the circumstances in which they live and learn on a daily basis.

It provides an opportunity to Canadian Schools to get a real understanding of International Development and the issues and challenges facing similar aged children in other regions of the world.

In this process Schools For School facilitates the opportunity for a Canadian School to link with a specific school in Africa and to help raise funds and support towards the educational needs of that specific school and the learners that attend there
